The Friday night Cruise In at the Langley airport was well attended and everyone had a great time.
On Saturday, I am sure there was lots of no shows because of the weather Friday night, but the collection of cars gathered for Saturdays show was second to none. The Vintage cars in the park was particularly good and to see all those Shelbys up by Value village was cool. I saw at least 4 silver 63' Vette coupes. Am I mistaken? Did I walk around in circles and see the same cars a couple of times?
On Sunday we attended the swap meet Chili cook off at Kwantlen college and I have to tell you there was some supreme Chili. The winners were Two Fat guys and a chick from the Brew place on Fraser Highway in downtown Langley. We saw the custom airbrushed fridges get auctioned off with proceeds going to charity. The vendors in the swap meet had all sorts of treasures for sale
All in all a perfect "Carnut" weekend!!! Thank-you to all those that turned out to volunteer and support this great event.
Carnut.ca is not officially conected to the Langley Good Times Cruise-in Society. I think that next year I will join the ranks of volunteers that make this event such a success and I encourage all of you to join as well.
